Dimitrios Spyrou was born in Eptakomi on
22/12/35 he went to the village primary school and
then worked in farming until the invasion. In
1957 he married Irene Kyriacou, they had
three children.
After the second phase of the invasion he was
enclaved with his family. On 15 August Turks
from Galateia together with fellow villagers
gathered the villagers in the church and
separated the men between the ages of 15 to
60 and took them to Galateia.
On 19 August his name was heard being called
out together with Vasili Yiannaka and Michali
Sialouna. They have not been heard of since. |
