Yiannis Yerolemou was born on 25/2/1917 in
Vathilaka where he also went to primary school.
In August 1947 he married Despina Nikola from
Eptakomi, they had one child.
From then he became permanently resident in
Eptakomi. On 22/9/1951 he went to England where
he remained until 1963 after which he returned
to Eptakomi and worked as a farmer. After the
second phase of the invasion on 21/8/74 around
midday a
Turk from Galateia and took him from his home.
He has not been seen since. |
