Leontios was born on 14/11/1924. He went to the
primary school and then worked as a farmer until
the invasion of 1974. in 1954 he married Katina
Pieri Zaharia, they had 6 children.
On 15 August he was enclaved along with his
family. On 15 August Turks from Galateia and
fellow villagers gathered the villagers in the
church yard and separated the men aged between
15-60 and took them to Galateia.On 20 August 1974 he was
returned to the village along with other fellow
villagers. On 20 August around midnight Turks
came from Galateia and took him. He has been
missing ever since. He was most loved and a good
family man. |
